N1 No. 1822 heads west past the shed at Fisherton Sarum. The N1 is a conversion from a Bachmann N class.

Hi Graham, not bad. Piano front yes, but inset valve chests, no! As this is the prototype it might be nice to try to get Holcroft conjugated gear in place, unless of course you plan to build the sole 3-cylinder ‘River’ tank engine no 890 which also had it when new. (And yes, I do realise these are outside your preferred period.) I much enjoy and appreciate the articles, especially having seen Fisherton Sarum at Ally Pally earlier this year. Unfortunately I can’t get to either of the exhibitions you’ll be attending now but look forward to re-acquainting myself with the layout soon.
