My layouts Fisherton Sarum or Canute Road Quay can be seen at one or three shows a year, any confirmed booked appearances are below and others currently in discussion will appear here in due course.
11th / 12th May 2024 – Canute Road Quay – Isle of Wight Steam Railway Model Show – Havenstreet Station, Isle of Wight Steam, Main Rd, Havenstreet, Ryde PO33 4DS
Note: The entrance fees shown left include a steam train ride ticket, the model railway exhibition and free access to the falconry centre plus flying displays, so all in all a great value full day out.
If you want to only enter for the model railway show a lower amount payable is shown on the IOWSR’s webpage here.
8th / 9th June 2024 – Canute Road Quay – Southampton Trams Museum model event – (Solent Sky Museum) Albert Road South, Southampton, SO14 3FR (Just around the corner from the real Canute Road!)
20th / 21st July 2024 – Canute Road Quay – Chatham and District Model Railway Club – The Historic Dockyard, Chatham, Kent ME4 4TZ
Saturday 9th November 2024 – Canute Road Quay – High Wycombe & District MRS – Cressex Community Centre, 203 Cressex Road High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP12 4PZ
27th /28th September 2025 – Canute Road Quay – Worthing Model Railway Club – Durrington High School, The Boulevard, Worthing BN13 1JX
In addition to any exhibitions with Fisherton Sarum or Canute Road Quay I can sometimes be found at other shows either working on the Kernow Model Rail Centre stand or occasionally assisting and playing trains on other layouts such as Simon Paley’s excellent layout ‘Collingwood’ with the best representation of the lineside and equipment and current signalling practices on the circuit today.
