Eagle eyed visitors of this blog will have spotted a couple of new dates have appeared for Fisherton Sarum on the road. The first of which is in only a couple of weeks time when it will be one of the visiting layouts operating at the open day of the High Wycombe and District Model Railway Society of which I am long time member.
We as a Society have the benefit of our own clubrooms, near the High Wycombe town centre, that are in excess of 4000 sq ft in which currently have 10 layouts either operational or under construction covering gauges from N to 0 and 0N30 including British and North American outlines. We also have a large multi gauge test track, metal and wood working workshop and a kitchen and refreshment area to relax and have a natter over a cuppa.
The open day, although mainly a by invitation event, is being held on Saturday 21st November, however if you are interested in seeing Fisherton Sarum close up, and even having a play, and or finding out more about what the High Wycombe and District Model Railway Society has to offer feel free to get in touch with me by email here
The second date added to the calendar for Fisherton Sarum being out and about is the Barnstaple MRC Exhibition on Saturday 30th July next year, of which more details will be posted in due course. You can always keep up to date with the exhibition plans for Fisherton Sarum on the Exhibition Diary page here I am discussion regarding a few more appearances to add to the list so watch this space.
