By July 1969, I was born on the 4th, although the Class 07 diesels have taken over the Southern Region’s work, steam is still evident at Canute Road Quay by way of the various industrial users serving their docks and wharfs alongside the River Itchen.
Delightful. I have still to see this layout in the flesh but now I have moved further east I am hopeful. 😳
