Canute Road Quay is stepping in to appear at the High Wycombe and District MRS MRX25 Spring exhibition on Saturday 12th April. This show is very local to me being organised by my own Model Rail Society.
Wycombe MRX25 Spring is the first of two friendly model railway exhibitions organised by the High Wycombe and District MRS in 2025 , with the second being November 15th.
Wycombe MRX25 Spring show packs a punch with 12 high quality and inspirational model railway layouts, in a wide range of familiar scales and gauges: N, H0, 00 and 00-9 narrow gauges.
Good friend and usual operator of Canute Road Quay Simon Paley will be exhibiting for the time in public his brand new layout Bryn Y Brenin Mawr that combines Welsh 2020s 00 standard gauge & and 00-9 narrow gauge preserved steam, it’s well worth a visit to the show to see it alone.
Trade support will be present ranging from ready to run models, previously loved models, books, model carrying boxes and the Society is pleased to be working with their sponsors, The Transport Treasury and AGR Model Railway Store, Leighton Buzzard.
The Society’s junior modellers layout ‘Mothecombe’ (00) will be on display showing its continued excellent progress and confirming that the hobby is alive and well with our junior modelling members!
The show is open between 10.00am and 4.30pm and is being held at Cressex Community Centre & Social Club, 203 Cressex Road, High Wycombe, HP12 4PZ. (SatNav user may find HP12 4QE a closer Postcode to use. What3Words///lakes.behave.cars )
