Rails D class

This is good news, and I’ve pre-ordered, but better news would be a D1 or E1, seeing as there’s not even a kit that’s accurate, best that could be done is to use a combination of different kits to produce an accurate model. Let’s hope that Dapol realise that the chassis is the same on a D1 and the tender, apart from the toolboxs and bulkhead is also the same. One would think that it’s not too much work to produce a D1 from that starting point?
What about an L1, butchered Triang is the best that can be expected at the moment………..
Whereas I could have just purchased a S E Finecast kit of a D.
