  4. I travelled on the train last week and have to say the the start off was particularly smooth; the engine is absolutely immaculate.

  5. To try to see this loco through the eyes of a Victorian, I guess it had a similar impact as the first sight of Concorde. For me it represents the height of elegance in locomotives, the equal of Wainwright’s D and others of that era. Congratulations to all those who made its return to steam possible. A 4mm version must have a place in my roster!
