The first exhibition appearance for Canute Road Quay in 2025 is next Sunday 2nd March at the Chesham Model Railway Club exhibition at the White Hill Centre , Chesham, Bucks, HP5 1AG.
The White Hill Centre is conveniently close to the delightful Chesham Station at the end of the Metropolitan Line, which is well worth a quick visit in its own right, not just a pleasant means to reach Chesham. The station was opened on 8 July 1889 by the Metropolitan Railway (MR), and its station building is Grade II listed and the site also retains its signal box (non operational) and water tower. Another claim to fame is that distance between Chesham and Chalfont & Latimer is the longest between adjacent stations on the entire UndergrounD network, at 3.89 miles along the Chess valley.
The exhibition is open between 10am and 4pm and features 12 other layouts alongside Canute Road Quay, full details can be found on the Chesham MRC website here.
If you are able to visit the show then please say hello.
