EFE Rail Adams T3 decorated samples revealed

The EFE Rail London & South Western Railway (LSWR) 4-4-0 T3 Class were announced at the 2024 Bachmann Collectors Club Members Day held at the Swanage Railway. I have developed these models in my role with Kernow Model Rail Centre for the Bachmann EFE Rail brand. Decorated samples of the five versions being initially produced have been revealed.  Sound fitted versions are available to pre-order exclusively from Kernow Model Rail Centre.

These livery samples are now under review and improvements and refinements will be made where necessary and incorporated into the production versions. As is often the case with samples like these, the fit and finish of parts will also be improved in production and the process of providing feedback to the factory has already commenced.

E85019  Adams T3 Class 4-4-0 LSWR Adams Pea Green Livery number 561 – in original condition with Adams Boiler, Adams Chimney, cab beading, equalising beam suspension, fluted coupling rods and double whistle. Note: the Adams pea green colour will be amended very slightly
As running between introduction in February 1893 and circa 1907.

E85023 Adams T3 Class 4-4-0 LSWR Urie Green Livery lettered LSWC the final iteration of LSWR green  number 564 – Drummond chimney and smokebox door, no cabside beading, traditional spring hanger suspension, fluted coupling rods and tender with coal rails.
As running between 1917 and Jan 1924.

E85024 Adams T3 Class SR Lined Olive Green livery number 560 – Drummond chimney and smokebox door, no cabside beading, traditional spring hanger suspension,  fluted coupling rods and a single whistle.
As running between March 1926 and May 1932.

E85025 Adams T3 Class SR Lined Olive Green livery – Drummond Boiler number 558 –  Drummond boiler, chimney and smokebox door, traditional spring hanger suspension,  plain coupling rods and a single whistle.
As running between March 1926 and October 1931.

E85030 Adams T3 Class 4-4-0 LSWR Livery (as  preserved) – LSWR Drummond Green Livery number 563 Adams boiler, chimney and smokebox door, Cab beading, equalising beam suspension, double whistle, and fluted coupling rods.
As running on the Swanage Railway since October 2023.

All versions of the models should be available before the end of the year.
