The following message is posted on behalf of Graham regarding Fisherton Sarum no longer being able to appear at the Basingstoke exhibition next weekend 9th / 10th March.
It is with regret, apologies and some embarrassment that a severe chest infection, leaving me totally incapacitated, has meant that I have to pull out of exhibiting Fisherton Sarum at the Basingstoke show next weekend. I sincerely apologise to the Basingstoke and North Hants Model Railway Society and show visitors alike.
Graham so sorry. Get well soon.
My commiserations to you Graham – hope you get better soon.
Sorry to hear that. I know how bad it must be for you to pull out of a show.
Graham, hope you get better soon. Can I ask you a question in the meantime please? No rush for answer. As FS is based postwar do you have locos/stock still in Olive Green or was stock all repainted by that time? Many thanks.
Richard
Most locos ended up in black during the war but a small number did manage to survive in Olive Green I do have a couple of locos in Olive green that appear from time to time. Ironically in light of today’s Bachmann announcement one of my kit built E4s is one if those in Olive Green. Quite a bit of coaching stock survived the war years in Olive owing to the SRs varnishing policy.
Thanks for the info Graham.
Get well soon Muz
Get well soon from Miss LMS & Myself
Get well soon!!
Many thanks for all the best wishes, I am slowly on the mend…
